Spirit and Learning
When it comes to spirituality and awareness, there’s no one route through that. It’s as unique to an individual as their fingerprints. All one really needs are good resources and divine timing to navigate what one needs in any given time. For this reason, when there are a variety of courses, like with Mandorla Academy, and options for topics, they’re ready when a person needs. Spiritual growth shouldn’t be a distraction from one’s life and responsibilities. It’s simply a component. When it works, it fits. If it takes over or consumes your life, something isn’t right. Changes come naturally enhancements. It’s not a sudden or drastic reinventing.
While the format for the coursework is structured into unit blocks and weekly studies, there is no need to rush through or complete all of the activities in a single night. (The format for our online classes is based on the original, abbreviated in-person workshops. It isn’t the expectation for the greatly expanded online versions.) Plenty of time is built in to complete the classwork. To try and retry. Each person finds out how they best perceive and process the information and actually learns the skills this way. If it was all expedited, no one would gain any proficiency.
Another bonus is that a classroom setting everyone is expected to complete tasks within time limits before moving on. It’s often fast paced so quick studiers aren’t left waiting. But then everyone else wishes they had extra time. Here, with few exceptions, you get to choose time frame. This helps tremendously when an activity is of greater interest or need, but also if something isn’t working. You can always come back to it later and not feel like you are wasting time and not making progress. A fresh perspective on a new day can do wonders.
Support & Goals
Although students work independently, it is not much different than sitting next to someone in person. You still have to complete the exercises on your own. Here, we make it possible to connect with the instructor for one-on-one help sessions as chosen by each student. Everyone is also able to communicate and sometimes work together via our classroom forums and chat space, as optional choices.
Lessons, topics, and quizzes have completion markers, so you get to see your progress in real time. As well, there are always unique badges to be earned along the way for various goal points. It’s easy to get excited about seeing new badges turn up on your student profile. Earning the full series of badges for a course is always a nice achievement. Certification for a successfully completed course is the exclamation mark at the end, of course.
A Message for Academy Students…
Spread the activities out. Work at your own pace. Revisit exercises. Dive into the bonus activities when your schedule allows. The time and energy you invest is up to you and what you want to achieve. That’s different for every person, so the courses are set up for everyone to accomplish their own personal goals. Some students want basic understanding, others want mastery. You know what is right for you.
While some might skip bonus activities and fly through only the basics, others may choose to break up the lessons and cover an activity or two per week over the course of a year and more. This makes our inclusive Academy Membership and Nights of Tarot flexible enough for every student to fit it into daily life. Most students take breaks over holidays, while on vacations, and during especially busy weeks. Even if new components are unlocked before you finished a week of material, there is no penalty to keep going at your own pace. Enjoy the program. There’s no need to feel rushed. It’s easy to go back favorite activities. The point is to develop your skills; repetition is a big part of that. Find additional motivation by connecting with others in the forums, as well. And when needed, reach out for help, we’ll be happy to assist you.
