The Workshops
Online courses at Mandorla Academy are comprehensive and interactive experiences proven over 20 years of instruction. Heather puts an emphasis on PRACTICAL APPLICATION and HANDS-ON LEARNING specifically. In contrast to those monotonous video-lectures. Learn to use the skills and apply them as you go. Enrich your life through workshops on self-awareness, spiritual growth, and psychic development. The Presence of Light workshop series is the foundation. Core, intermediate, and advanced student levels instructed.
Other highlights: classes for healing, such as Perspectives of Grief and Loss and Channeling your creative spirit. Also find other metaphysical and paranormal subjects. Signs, Synchronicities, and Dreams teaches dream interpretation. The popular Nights of Tarot and Journey Back: A Past Life Experience are among the most popular in Heather’s catalog, as well.
Class Features
Best of all, classes incorporate a broad range of fun activities and tools for the best PERSONAL success in learning. For example, games, quizzes, essays, polls, videos, audio, and interactive videos. Meditation and journaling play a part as they pertain to course topics. Student interactive assignments, forums, and discussions are applied. These help participants connect with each other and greatly enhance the classes. Yet, still enjoying class from the comfort and convenience of home. And, from anywhere in the world!
Workshops not yet offered online are in development to transition them to online-availability. This takes time, of course. History of Online Courses
Back in 2001, the foundation of the first Presence of Light courses began online with informal classes Heather taught to a small group of clients. Soon after, she was approached by a local business owner who wanted to offer the classes at her art gallery. That first successful group wanted to continue working together. So from there, the courses evolved into a weekly development group. Community education programs across southern MN also began hosting several of the classes. Of course, Heather taught classes independently as well. One of our favorite venues was an area library classroom; a room which over the years watched people interpreting dreams, meditating on past lives, and even doing some psychic detective work.
The course catalog continued to grow. There are now about 50 courses altogether. Over the years many requests from potential students all over the state, as well as in other states and countries, have come in. All asking for any classes offered online. In making the move to Hastings, it proved good timing to start transitioning all the classes to online availability. And here we are now, virtual doors open to welcome all those who previously were unable to attend in-person to our new Mandorla Academy! We’re happy you are here and look forward to working with you in class.
