Alphabets and Songs: Musical Divination for Insights

Artichoke, Buster, catapult, diamond, elephant, France, garden, hippopotamus, independence, jackalope, kangaroo, lozenge, magnetics, Neverland, omega, partridge, quarterback, Riviera, Sacagawea, titanium, umpire, Vidalia, watermelon, xenophobe, Yorktown, Zippity Do Dah…. Guess who got to play the alphabet game on the long drive home from Stillwater last night? It’s worse than a song that gets stuck in your head. Though, sometimes a song gets stuck in your head as a sign. And when you want to look for a message from your guides, try CD divination.

CD Divination

Speaking of songs though, how about trying this simple little divination. It’s similar to bibliomancy for anyone who has done that before. I started using this oddly enough while I was doing a consultation for a woman whose first husband had suddenly passed away in his mid-twenties. He loved music and during the reading he wanted me to play a certain song for his wife. Instead of telling me which song, he pointed it out by CD & track number. Ever since then my spirit guides have enjoyed using it occasionally to get messages to me. The nice thing is it’s so quick you can do it every day, or whenever you feel drawn to it.

How-To Get Messages

So…go to your CD collection – if you have multiple shelves or stacks you can choose which one you want to use or else just start from the top and use them all (you’ll just have count higher numbers probably). Out loud or telepathically, ask what your message is for today, then “listen” for the first number that pops in your head. Close your eyes if it helps you concentrate. Count that many CD’s (from top to bottom or from left to right) and put your finger on it.

Next (closing your eyes again if it that’s what works for you), ask “which track?” When you get your number, pull out the CD, then look at the song title to get your message for the day. Just depending on how this works for you, your message will either be the song title itself, or it’s possible the message could require you to listen to the whole song to get a specific line of lyrics. Or…you may need to repeat the process to get two or three song titles to put together as was the case for me today…

Example

CD 42, Track 5 and 3 …”Elevation + Always”,
which might seem cryptic to you, but with what was on my mind this morning it makes perfect sense to me.

Try it for yourself – have fun with whatever gets stuck in your head. And feel free to leave a comment back to add your own message for the day!
